Running for Our Wounded Warriors
June 3, 2014
I used to be a runner and wish that I still was. Despite having knee surgery, back and shoulder surgery, I am handing in there on a treadmill every day for about 30 minutes five days a week. I truly wish that I could participate in a run to support a fantastic organization called Wounded Warrior Project. As you may know, our home office for KING AEROSPACE is in Addison in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. On Sunday, June 8, the Wounded Warrior Half Marathon & 10K will be held in Las Colinas, Texas.
Over 4,000 runners are expected to participate in this wonderful event that honors our men and women of the military and helps raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House. A post-race party is planned with food, drink and live music.
Here’s how you can make a difference: you run and create a fundraiser team or you can simply donate.
All of the information is right here: www.dallasathletesracing.com/races/wounded-warrior/.
