Ron Soret Rejoins King Aerospace Team
July 28, 2020
DALLAS, TX – King Aerospace recently welcomed Ron Soret back to its team. Soret has been a longtime friend of the company. He served as president of King Aerospace Commercial Corporation prior to joining AERIA Luxury Interiors in 2011 as vice president and general manager of completions.
“Aviation has always been a tightknit industry, where everyone seems to know everyone and paths frequently cross,” says Jarid King, King Aerospace president. “Ron has been both a mentor and go-to resource my entire career. I join the rest of our team in saying, ‘Welcome home.’”
Soret joins King Aerospace at a time of dynamic change with the pandemic reshaping the aviation industry. His deep expertise in aircraft modifications and level-headed approach inform decisions large and small. King Aerospace, which has enjoyed consistent year-over-year growth, plans to add another 90,000-square-foot hangar to its 200,000-square-foot hangar space at the Ardmore (Oklahoma) Industrial Airpark.
“Those plans continue to move forward and underscore our faith that the industry will rebound,” says Soret, King Aerospace Commercial Corporation, executive vice president. “Our growth goals include diversifying our product line to include green completions as well as VVIP interior refurbishment, maintenance, avionics and paint.”
King Aerospace’s Ardmore facility also provides depot services for military and government aircraft. New hangar construction could take a year to 15 months.
Soret’s three-decade-strong career also includes serving as chief operating officer for San Antonio-based Gore Design, vice president of operations for Associated Air Center, and positions of increasing responsibility with The Dee Howard Company. He earned a bachelor of science degree in aviation maintenance management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a former FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR). He is a licensed private pilot and an airframe and powerplant (A&P) technician.
“The family environment and principal-driven culture make me happy and proud to be part of the King family,” says Soret.
