MAY WE NEVER FORGET!

May we never forget why we celebrate Independence Day, the Fourth of July. The crusty leaders of the United States adopted and approved the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, as the first step to notify the British superpower that “enough is enough!” The adoption and signing of the document was the easy part. The hard part came later. People had to fight and even die to earn the independence that we enjoy today. I cannot help but think about how the current people of Ukraine can clearly relate to the importance of fighting for your country and freedom. May we as citizens of a great country never forget the men and women who have fought and died for our freedom. May we never forget our heritage as we pray for those in the horrible conflict between Russia and Ukraine. God Bless America!
