King Aerospace Names People Department Leader

October 30, 2019

DALLAS, TX – One of the most critical positions in any company is its head of human resources. At King Aerospace, that is especially true. With the naming of Analia Vaca to the role of people department leader – King Aerospace taps into her 15 years of industry experience and a deep-rooted passion for teambuilding.

“Whether our team members are working on a VVIP aircraft or serving in a hostile location on the other side of the world, they must have excellent skills plus a complete dedication to the mission,” says Jarid King, president, King Aerospace. “Analia understands the vital nature of her role.”

Vaca will be responsible for recruitment, retention, performance management, compensation, payroll and benefits for King Aerospace Companies, including its Dallas-based corporate headquarters; Ardmore, OK-based corporate aviation services; El Paso, TX facility and global U.S. military/government special missions support. King Aerospace has an ongoing need for licensed A&P mechanics, aircraft maintenance technicians and avionics engineers. It offers careers in avionics, interiors, maintenance, paint, ISR (intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance), logistics, modifications and program management.

“My past experience has prepared me for a mission-critical environment,” says Vaca. “King Aerospace’s global support requires team members who are fully prepared to be deployed on a moment’s notice in order to get critical-mission aircraft reliably and quickly back in service.”

Most recently, Vaca provided served as human resources director for SevenBar Aviation, a Dallas-based, seven-decade-strong provider of medical flight services. Prior to that, she was HR manager for Nera Telecommunications in Richardson, TX. She holds licenses and certifications from Richland College, Just Culture, and the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA).

King Aerospace puts its mission and core principals front and center. It hires to them. The mission to make a positive difference in the lives of others is supported by eight cornerstone principles that range from mutual respect and trust to a no-excuses, team approach. Team members earn the gold wings they wear on their uniforms. Colleagues, not management, determine who has earned the right to wear them. And, once earned, they can be lost if these principles are not consistently followed.

“Our company values are actually a strong recruitment tool,” says Vaca. “People who want to deliver the best are drawn to King Aerospace.”

And, what about that title of “people department leader?”

“We do things differently at King Aerospace,” says Vaca. “We put our people front and center.”
