Come Paint With Pride

June 14, 2022

We take pride in the exacting standards of all of our aviation services, but our paintwork generates some of the greatest recognition and customer praise. Our reputation – coupled with unprecedented industry demand – has our VVIP facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma, hopping. We’re seeking painters of all experience levels to join our high-performing team.

Could This Be You, or Someone You Know?

This is not just any team. It exemplifies our Cornerstone Principals of mutual respect, honesty, trust, problem-solving and quality in everything (no excuses). These aren’t just written on our hangar walls. They’re lived each day and guide actions large and small.

Another plus: Steve Sawyer serves as general manager of operations. As a retired U.S. Navy master chief with 30 years of experience, Sawyer has developed deep expertise and engenders the trust of all who work with him. His infectious passion energizes everyone around him.

“Our people rise up to challenges and respond like a family would – giving it everything they have,” says Sawyer. “They meet and exceed challenges, often in profound ways.”

If this kind of environment sounds appealing after other places you’ve worked, listen to what team members say:

  • “You feel like you’re part of something greater than just going to work.”
  • “I like being part of something that has morals and definition. That lets you bring something home besides stress.”
  • “When I came to this company, I knew this is where I needed to be.”
  • “We have each other’s back.”
  • “It’s very different to have a company that seems to care.”

What It Means to Be Family

Our team members often use “family” to describe King Aerospace. It’s one that holds each other accountable and lifts each other up. All with the goal of delivering the best and being our best.

“I’m incredibly proud of the King Aerospace family we’ve created and nurture,” says Chairman and Founder Jerry King. “That includes our team and our customers. We’re all in this together.”

Aircraft owners and operators come from all over the world, drawn by a reputation for premium work, great value and attentive service. Our location – Ardmore, OK – offers its own, unique appeal for team members.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

It’s a great area for families, offering affordable housing, good schools and a low cost of living (about 80% of the national average). The city and the Ardmore Industrial Airpark have become a growing logistics hub, befitting their location along I-35. The community has an arts center, movie theater, local and chain restaurants, parks and playgrounds. It also has a speedway and dragway if racing’s your thing. People are friendly. Football is huge. Children can walk to school.

Ardmore isn’t a big city, but it’s not far from two of them – Oklahoma City is just 90 minutes north while Dallas/Fort Worth is 90 minutes south. And if you think of Oklahoma as flat, you haven’t seen the views from the Arbuckle Mountains about 20 minutes north of us. In the Arbuckle foothills, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and its beautiful rolling hillsides, mineral springs and reservoir provide camping, boating, hiking and plenty of natural beauty.

Not far to the south along the Oklahoma-Texas border is Lake Texhoma, known as the “Playground of the Southwest.” The massive reservoir, in a bend of the Red River, offers boating, fishing, camping, hiking, wildlife refuges and other recreational options. You might even spot some bald eagles.

When You’re Ready to Fly

We reward high-quality work and the passion that drives it. Consider joining the team of a company that gives more than it takes and knows that success is never achieved alone. Come earn your wings with us.
