Company founder, Jerry King, has spent his notable career serving a broad spectrum of the aviation industry. Since founding King Aerospace in 1992, his leadership has grown its military/government services into a global operation that operates facilities in Texas, South Korea and 24/7 logistics outposts around the world. On the corporate side, King Aerospace has become a leading one-stop provider of VVIP refurbishment, avionics, maintenance and paint. He forged King Aerospace’s distinctive no-excuses, servant-leadership-driven culture and continues to be a driving force behind it. As a result, the team is unrivaled in its quality output and proactive problem-solving. Early in his career, as CEO and co-owner of Associated Air Center, he helped that company achieve record growth. Mr. King earned a BBA degree from Texas State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed pilot and supports several nonprofit organizations.
Jarid was just a tot when his father founded King Aerospace, so he literally grew up with the company. He has served in a wide range of roles from aircraft support at a remote overseas location to general manager of the Ardmore facility. During his apprenticeship, Jarid earned the respect of customers, employees and industry professionals. He has worked in all areas of aircraft support services, both in the United States and abroad. He continues to keep King Aerospace’s focused on positive customer relationships, values, and principles of service greater than self. Jarid earned a degree in management from Oklahoma State University, where he played varsity Division One football as a defensive tackle. He is a licensed pilot and the company representative to the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA).
Brian brings more than 30 years of strong experience and knowledge along with proven leadership within the aerospace and defense industries. His career has been primarily focused on aircraft integration and missionization. His industry background serves as a key driver of King Aerospace’s strategic and annual operating process, capital deployment, balance sheet and cashflow management, and margin-expanding productivity initiatives. Brian oversees the day-to-day operations of the finance department and the ongoing vibrancy of King Kulture. Previously Brian served as the chief financial officer of the Greenville division of what is now L3Harris Technologies. Prior to his role as CFO, Sinkule held roles with increasing levels of financial responsibility at L3 Technologies, Raytheon and Chrysler Technologies Airborne Systems. He began his career supporting Boeing completions and through the years advanced to the role of CFO of the ISR division of this top-tier defense contractor. He earned his BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant.
Keith leads business development across the King companies, bringing a united approach to sales efforts for our military, government and corporate aircraft services. Since joining King Aerospace in 1999, he has been involved in a wide range of aviation services and in his current role draws on extensive experience meeting the needs and expectations of both military and corporate aircraft operators. Before moving into sales, Keith was vice president of finance, and his background includes strategic planning and oversight of prime government contract aviation operations services. Previously, Keith served for more than a decade as a controller for Stanford Trading Co. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant. His education, aviation management experience and values earn him the reputation for trust and honesty that truly reflect our values and principles in all dealings.
Pete Schneider brings to King Aerospace more than 35 years of experience working on and managing a diverse array of aviation programs. These include modifications and completions for the U.S. Presidential fleet; full-completion, modification and refurbishment of aircraft operated for international heads-of-state, private VIP customers, and commercial airliners. At King Aerospace, Pete oversees several large projects at a time and is responsible for expanding the company's growth while maintaining its small company spirit, and “fulfilling our Servant Leadership responsibility to all of our employees, partners and customers.” Pete has a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Minnesota and also completed advanced education programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Washington. He and his wife are parents to two young adults in college and, outside the office, Pete enjoys hiking, triathlons, long-distance bike rides and snow skiing. He takes great pride in delivering on his commitments and looks forward to demonstrating that to all King Aerospace customers.
This performance-driven leader offers deep expertise acquired through more than three decades in defense aerospace maintenance, logistics and acquisition. At King Aerospace, Greg helps advance the King Kulture of respect, trust and collaboration. He leads and manages aviation maintenance and logistics operations at seven sites located on four continents; directs personnel performing program and contracts management; ensures FAA compliance for two Part 145 Repair Stations; and serves as direct customer liaison with senior military and civilian leadership representatives. Greg is a retired Captain with the U.S. Navy. His assignments included leading the Naval Air Forces’ San Diego-based enterprise headquarters for aviation cost and data analysis; maintenance and logistics management for a fleet of 275 aircraft engaged in global military operations; and support for two deployed units in continuous combat operations. Greg earned a bachelor’s in psychology at Chapman University and holds a master’s in management from the University of Maryland University College.
As Vice President of Business Development – Special Projects, Bob Blanchard draws on his more than 30 years of aviation law enforcement experience with United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Coast Guard to help introduce King Aerospace’s portfolio of services to the rotary wing and national law enforcement sectors. "My entire career has revolved around Mr. King's motto of 'God, Country, Family,'" he says. "It's kind of my whole background." Immediately prior to joining King Aerospace, Blanchard served as Executive Director, National Air Security Operations (NASO), overseeing six National Air Security Operations Centers (NASOC) across North, Central and South America. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and he and his family reside in Norman, OK.
After 41 years with Boeing, Jeff had a number of job offers, but King Aerospace and its servant-leader philosophy won him over. At this point in his career, he says he’s found the best home for sharing his experiences to help others. His responsibilities as SVP include support for VIP and government customers in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for their BBJ/VIP aircraft. In addition to serving as COO and director of business operations for Boeing Business Jets, Barstow’s long career at Boeing included management roles for the 737 P-8 Poseidon, 737 and 757 airplane programs. He also served as finance estimating leader for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He has been the leader of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Superintendents Course Leadership Module. He graduated from Washington State University College of Business and Economics and has completed advanced studies with The Wharton School and University of Washington Michael G Foster School of Business.
Steve brings proven leadership and expertise in production and operations, quality assurance and continual process improvement. He joined King Aerospace in 2016 as program manager for King’s contractor logistics support (CLS) work as a subcontractor for mission-critical military aircraft. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a master chief following 30 years of service. Most recently he had managed 66 unique technical facilities conducting full-cycle repair of engines, electronics, hydraulics and other components relative to McDonnell Douglas F/A-18, Lockheed C-130 and P-3 aircraft. He was responsible for the training, certification, safety and welfare of more than 500 military and civilian specialized technicians and managed an annual $8 million operational budget and a $500,000 training budget, achieving a 98% production success rate supporting almost 100 Navy and Marine Corp aircraft. His deep expertise in fleet logistics extends to Boeing 737 (C-40), McDonnell Douglas C-9, Lockheed C-130, and Gulfstream G-III/G-IV/G-V aircraft. He managed aircraft maintenance program compliance, quality assurance standards and logistics support requirements for 17 separate units worldwide operating more than 65 of these aircraft. Sawyer had responsibility for overseas aircraft replacement parts warehouses supporting 300,000 line items valued at more than $40 million. Steve studied at Excelsior College and the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy. He was a certified FAA and EASA FlightSafety International Pratt and Whitney engine maintenance instructor. He earned a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt and maintains a secret security clearance.
As General Manager of Arkansas Operations, Cody relishes the opportunity to establish a facility that "knocks it out of the park in performance and meeting customers' expectations.” He joined King Aerospace in 2023 following a distinguished 17-year career with Textron Aviation that saw him climb the ranks from working as a certified flight instructor to managing the company's San Antonio (TX) Service Center. Cody is a firm believer in making a difference in the lives of others and values the ability to respond quickly to customers' needs, as well as the opportunity to now work at the same company as his father, Jack, who helped nurture Cody’s love of aviation as a child. Cody graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in aviation management and he later earned his MBA in business administration from Newman University. When away from work, Cody enjoys spending time with his family, working in the yard, enjoying the great outdoors and studying theology.
Roy personifies the honesty, team orientation and can-do attitude that defines King Aerospace, which matters when you manage avionics, interiors and maintenance for some of the world's largest, most luxurious VVIP aircraft. Prior to joining the company, Roy served for 18 years at BizJet International, including five years as Vice President of Operations. In that role, he reported directly to the CEO and managed a team of more than 130 engineers and professionals representing production, certification, supply chain and quality control, overseeing the VIP completions of eight Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) and seven Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ). Previously, Roy served for 12 years as a helicopter technician in the U.S. Marine Corps, performing dynamic component overhauls, collateral duty inspections and maintenance signoffs. Roy holds an FAA A&P certification and has trained at the Marine Corps Institute for Leadership, Lufthansa Technik, National Contract Management Association, Tulsa Technology and Outcomy.
Since joining our family in 1993, Randy Johnson has proven himself indispensable. He’s a relationship builder and trusted, responsive customer liaison. Randy manages all production aspects on corporate jets, VIP and VVIP aircraft from paint and interiors to maintenance and upgrades. His responsibilities include staffing, planning, scheduling and daily production of King Aerospace’s industry-leading paint department. His airframe expertise extends to the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), Bombardier Challenger, Learjet, Gulfstream, Hawker and Cessna Citation aircraft. Randy began his career at AAR Oklahoma where he worked his way up from trainee to foreman. He learned the intricacies of aviation painting in the best way possible: direct, deep experience.
