King Aerospace Names New CFO

September 3, 2020

DALLAS, TX – Scott Parkinson has joined King Aerospace as chief financial officer. His background includes more than 30 years of experience providing financial oversight of both domestic and international operations and working with the myriad regulations associated with U.S. government contracts.

“Scott’s expertise, drive and values make him a perfect fit for our management team,” says Jarid King, King Aerospace president. “He knows how to propel businesses forward, and we’re confident his efforts will accelerate our substantial growth goals.”

King Aerospace has enjoyed consistent year-over-year growth and will soon add another 90,000-square-foot hangar to its 200,000-square-foot hangar space at the Ardmore (Oklahoma) Industrial Airpark. The added hangar space will help King Aerospace’s corporate division diversify its product line to include green completions. It offers avionics, refurbishment, maintenance and paint for business and VVIP aircraft, specializing in the Boeing Business Jet. Its large military/government division delivers responsive maintenance and support services worldwide.

Prior to joining King Aerospace, Parkinson served as controller and vice president of finance for the defense, aerospace and security division of Sanmina, an electronics manufacturer. He was based in Huntsville, AL, and reported directly to the president. He helped both meet and exceed the division’s financial margin expectations. Earlier he was the global director of finance for Boston, MA-based Crane Currency. It has supplied the U.S. government with currency paper since 1879 and provides banknotes to central banks all over the world. He has also worked for KPMG and the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), both based in Washington, DC.

“I look forward to helping King Aerospace enhance business performance and value throughout its impressive, farflung operations,” says Parkinson. “With the pandemic, I join the team at a time of unique challenge, making risk mitigation and development even more critical.”
